Doha: The US Embassy in Qatar issued a shelter-in-place advisory to Americans following the Israeli attack targeting Hamas leaders in the capital, Doha. The Embassy said in a post on the X platform: “We have seen reports of rocket attacks in Doha. We have issued a shelter-in-place order to Americans.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Embassy’s notice came after Israel announced it had carried out an airstrike on a Hamas leader in the Qatari capital, Doha. Hamas’ chief negotiator, Khalil al-Hayya, met with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha on Monday.
