US Launches Violent Airstrikes Targeting Houthi Sites in Yemen

Sanaa: Media outlets reported that US aircraft launched a new series of airstrikes, marking the most violent attacks on Houthi sites since the start of the military operation in Yemen a month ago. The airstrikes targeted key locations including training camps and areas with significant numbers of missile launchers and experts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, 15 US airstrikes were conducted on Houthi sites, focusing on central Yemen, particularly Al Bayda Governorate, and for the first time, Al Zaher District in the south. The strikes specifically targeted a Houthi gathering near the government complex, destroying platforms allegedly used by the Houthis to launch missiles.

Sources confirmed that on Tuesday, the Houthi group acknowledged the death of their leader known as “Al-Dharafi,” who was targeted in a US airstrike in Saada.
