Washington: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed on Tuesday that progress has been made in talks with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rubio stated in a press conference, "There is progress in the talks with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz," emphasizing that "Iran cannot possess a nuclear weapon."
Rubio added, "We are engaged in negotiations with Iran to ensure the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz," noting that "a final understanding has not yet been reached regarding the Strait of Hormuz, but we hope to reach an agreement very soon."
