US Treasury Department to Offer $119 Billion in Long-Term Bonds

Washington:The US Treasury Department has announced plans to issue $119 billion in long-term bonds next week. These bonds will have maturities of three, 10, and 30 years.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the department will offer $58 billion in three-year bonds, $39 billion in 10-year bonds, and conclude with $22 billion in 30-year bonds.

The results of the auctions are scheduled to be announced on consecutive days: three-year bonds on Tuesday, 10-year bonds on Wednesday, and 30-year bonds on Thursday.

In a similar move last month, the Treasury issued the same amount and types of bonds, with demand exceeding average expectations.
