Accra:The President of the Republic, Nizar Amedi, received a congratulatory message from Uzbekistan’s President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to mark Iraq’s National Day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the message conveyed the Uzbek President’s sincere congratulations and best wishes to both President Amedi and the Iraqi people. President Mirziyoyev highlighted the strong historical and cultural connections between Iraq and Uzbekistan, noting that these ties form a solid foundation for their long-standing and multifaceted relations.

President Mirziyoyev also expressed optimism about the ongoing practical cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing that it will continue to evolve in ways that benefit both countries. He extended wishes for President Amedi’s good health, happiness, and success in his national duties, and expressed hopes for Iraq’s peace, security, progress, and sustainable prosperity.
