Baghdad: A wanted terrorist suspect was arrested in Al-Abara district of Diyala. A joint security force comprised of Diyala Police, the Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Division in Al-Abara, and National Security detachments in the district arrested a suspect wanted by the Diyala Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate under Article (4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed that the arrest was carried out pursuant to a judicial warrant. The suspect has been handed over to the requesting authority to complete the legal and investigative procedures against him.
