Wasit: An open-ended sit-in began tonight in front of the Wasit Provincial Council building, demanding that the province be granted its full share of electricity and that its allocation be increased to 1500 megawatts to ensure improved electricity supply hours for citizens.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the sit-in will continue until Sunday morning, with protesters demanding an increase in the province's energy quota and improved supply hours to meet the needs of Wasit residents.
