Weather Forecaster Predicts Unstable Conditions and Thunderstorms Across Iraq

Baghdad: Weather forecaster Sadiq Attiya has announced the likelihood of unstable weather conditions affecting several regions of Iraq on Thursday. These conditions may include rainfall of varying intensity in different provinces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Attiya shared on his Facebook page that numerical weather models are suggesting partly cloudy skies, transitioning to cloudy at times throughout the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain showers in scattered areas of central and southern Iraq.

Attiya further explained that heavy showers, potentially accompanied by lightning and thunder, could occur in areas west of Samawah. He urged the public to avoid sensationalist and fear-inducing sources, advising reliance on credible weather forecasts.

He also highlighted that spring weather patterns are subject to rapid changes, particularly in long-range forecasts. Attiya noted that while long-range colored maps offer initial indications, they are prone to change with subsequent updates.
