Washington: The White House has released the list of demands presented by US President Donald Trump to Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa during their meeting in Riyadh earlier today. The discussions focused on several critical issues concerning regional stability and counterterrorism efforts.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Trump’s demands included a call for Syria to sign the Abraham Accords with Israel, which signifies a move towards normalization of relations. Additionally, there was a demand for the expulsion of all “foreign terrorists” and “Palestinian terrorists” from Syrian territory. The agenda also covered the provision of American assistance to prevent the resurgence of the terrorist organization ISIS. Furthermore, President Trump emphasized the need for Syria to assume complete responsibility for the detention centers housing ISIS militants.
