GAZA CITY: The World Health Organization has declared the health situation in northern Gaza as catastrophic, emphasizing the urgent necessity for a ceasefire to address the escalating crisis. The region’s medical infrastructure has been severely compromised, with thousands of residents requiring urgent medical attention outside the besieged area.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a spokesperson for the World Health Organization highlighted the dire circumstances in the northern Gaza Strip, where over 15,000 individuals are in need of treatment unavailable within the territory. Despite the efforts of UN agencies to provide assistance, the spokesperson stressed that a political decision is essential to halt the ongoing hostilities.
