Gaza: The World Health Organization (WHO) called on the Israeli occupation army today to stop its attacks on healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the World Health Organization’s Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, emphasized in a statement the dire situation in Gaza, stating, “As the people of Gaza starve, their already limited access to healthcare is further restricted by repeated attacks. We can only say: Stop the attacks on healthcare, stop the shooting now.”

The urgency of the situation was highlighted when, yesterday, the Israeli occupation forces bombed Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 Palestinians, including five journalists.
