Babylon: A woman in her thirties tragically ended her life on Thursday evening by throwing herself into a tributary river in the Abi Gharq district, located west of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, confirmed the incident, stating that the woman committed suicide by throwing herself into the river. The river police have been deployed and are currently searching for her body.
