Diwaniyah: Two workers were killed when the roof of a private brick factory collapsed in Al-Hamza Al-Sharqi district of Diwaniyah province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed that the collapse was attributed to the age of the building. The incident has prompted authorities to take swift action, transferring the bodies of the victims to the forensic medicine department for further examination.

An investigation has been launched to determine the precise circumstances surrounding the tragic event. As part of the ongoing investigation, the factory owner has been arrested.
