Yarallah Engages with International Coalition Commander on Military Cooperation in Iraq


Baghdad: The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, held discussions with the Commander of the International Coalition Forces in Iraq, General Kevin Leahy, focusing on enhancing cooperation in the areas of training, armament, and logistical support.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense released a statement indicating that Yarallah met in his office with General Leahy and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by the Commander of the Land Forces and the Secretary of Intelligence for the Chief of Staff of the Army.



During the meeting, Yarallah welcomed the guests and engaged in discussions aimed at fostering cooperation and joint coordination in military operations. The focus was on improving the training, armament, and logistical support to develop the capabilities of the Iraqi army, ensuring its readiness to confront terrorist threats and maintain the stability of the country.
