Hilla: A young man, Imad Kadhim al-Saidi, died after being electrocuted Sunday evening at his home in the al-Hamza al-Gharbi district, south of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah stated that the 18-year-old died as a result of electrocution at his residence. The incident occurred on Sunday, prompting immediate action from local authorities.

Abdullah mentioned that the police have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been opened to determine the exact cause and any potential contributing factors.
