Damascus: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, affirmed today, Thursday, the Council’s readiness to provide any assistance in the judicial field, while praising the reconstruction of the Syrian state in all areas.
According to Iraqi News Agency, in a speech during a joint meeting with the Syrian Minister of Justice, Mazhar Abdul Rahman Al-Wais, in Damascus, Judge Zidan stated, “We stand firmly with you in rebuilding the Syrian state in all areas,” emphasizing the readiness to provide any assistance in the judicial field.
For his part, the Syrian Minister of Justice affirmed to Judge Zidan that “relations between Iraq and Syria have developed, particularly economically and in security,” noting that “we look forward to greater cooperation between Baghdad and Damascus in the judicial and legal fields.” He emphasized that “Syria is currently undergoing a new phase, the essence of which is building a state of law and institutions.”
