BEIRUT: A paramedic was killed and five others were injured in a raid by Israeli forces on a health center in the town of Al-Bazourieh in southern Lebanon, marking the latest in a series of attacks that have targeted medical facilities in the region. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed the death of a paramedic affiliated with the Health Authority - Civil Defense and reported that five people were injured, including three paramedics. This incident adds to the growing toll of paramedics affected by such aggression, bringing the total number of paramedic casualties to 164 killed and 275 injured since the onset of the conflict. The Lebanese Ministry of Health has strongly condemned the continued targeting of medical and health facilities by the occupation forces. The ministry has called upon the international community to intervene and halt what it describes as a relentless series of inhumane attacks on healthcare workers and centers.
