Baghdad, Detachments of the Residence Affairs Directorate arrested 13 violators of the residence law, practicing begging in Baghdad.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the mobile detachments of the Directorate of Residence Affairs carried out a campaign to follow up the phenomenon of begging at intersections and public streets in the capital, Baghdad, by some foreigners who violated Residence Law No. 76 of 2017, as the campaign resulted in the arrest of 13 violators who practice begging in the streets.

He explained that legal measures were taken against them in accordance with the applicable contexts in accordance with the law, and they were deported outside the country.
