Hillah: A 14-year-old boy took his own life by hanging himself in his father's orchard located in the Al-Hashimiya district, south of Hillah, on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar Al-Shammari, confirmed the incident, stating that the police received a report regarding the suicide of the young boy in Al-Hashimiya.

Colonel Al-Shammari further informed that the boy's body has been transferred to the forensic medicine department. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been initiated by the authorities.
