Basra: 90 people of different nationalities were arrested for violating residency requirements at the Shalamja border crossing in Basra. The Basra Governorate Police Command announced the arrest of these individuals for contravening residency regulations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command's media office released a statement on Sunday confirming the arrests. "The Shalamja Police Station arrested 90 people of different nationalities for violating residency regulations and attempting to enter the country illegally," the statement read.

The statement further mentioned that the necessary legal procedures have been taken against those arrested.
