BAGHDAD: The Federal Police have successfully apprehended several individuals wanted for crimes including murder, drug-related offenses, and theft in Baghdad. The arrests were made following strategic operations based on precise intelligence, leading to the capture of multiple suspects across the city. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Federal Police Command reported that the First Division detachments executed two separate operations, resulting in the arrest of three individuals wanted under Article 28 of the Narcotics Law. These suspects were found in possession of crystal narcotics. Additionally, an individual accused of premeditated murder was detained in the Al-Baladiyat and Al-Kamaliya areas. In a separate operation, four individuals were apprehended under Article 443 related to theft in the Al-Nahrawan area of Baghdad. All suspects have been handed over to the appropriate authorities to proceed with the necessary legal actions. The operations highlight the Federal Police's ongoing efforts to combat crime across the capital.
