HATAY: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the Israeli government of attempting to ignite a regional conflict, expressing his solidarity with Iran following alleged Israeli attacks. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan made these remarks during a speech in Hatay, a southern province of Turkey. He stated, "The Zionist Israeli government, spoiled by Western powers, is trying to ignite a regional conflict." Erdogan extended his support to Iran after what he described as Israeli aggression, wishing safety to Iran and its government following attacks reported earlier today. Erdogan further cautioned against falling into what he termed the "trap of regional conflict" set by Israel and its allies, asserting that Israel would not succeed in its objectives through its current approach. On domestic matters, Erdogan reiterated Turkey's resilience against terrorist organizations, emphasizing that terrorism would not disrupt the unity among Turkey's diverse ethnic and religious communities, i ncluding Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Sunnis, and Alawites. The Turkish President's comments come in the wake of a recent assault on the "Tusas" company in Ankara, which resulted in five fatalities and 22 injuries. Turkish authorities have attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party.
