Baghdad: The Education, Youth and Sports Committee of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council convened a meeting led by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, alongside his Saudi counterpart, Youssif bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan. The meeting was held through a television circuit to discuss collaboration between the two nations. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered around proposals for initiatives, projects, and programs for the fifth session of the Education, Youth and Sports Committee. The dialogue aimed to strengthen the cooperation in education, youth, and sports between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Both sides reached an agreement to adopt a joint work plan, tasking committee coordinators from Iraq and Saudi Arabia to take steps towards its implementation. The plan will be executed following a specific timetable, ensuring structured progress in their collaborative efforts. The meeting concluded with speeches from both Naeem Al-Aboudi and Youssif bin Abdu llah Al-Bunyan, who expressed their gratitude for the dedication of work teams from both countries. They emphasized the importance of the ongoing collaboration in advancing the shared interests of Iraq and Saudi Arabia in educational, youth, and sports sectors.
