Iran Sees Trump’s Election Victory as Chance for US Policy Reassessment.

Iran: Iran considered today that Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential elections constitutes an opportunity for the United States to "review previous incorrect approaches". Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei emphasized the potential for change in US-Iran relations under the new administration. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Baqaei stated, "We have very bitter experiences with previous policies and approaches of different US administrations." His comments highlight Iran's longstanding grievances and hope for a shift in US foreign policy towards Iran under Trump's leadership. Baqaei further elaborated on the possibilities of re-evaluating and adjusting Washington's past strategies, which Iran views as flawed. Baqaei's remarks suggest a cautious optimism that the change in US leadership might lead to a more favorable diplomatic environment. This sentiment reflects Iran's desire for the US to reconsider its historical stance and engage in more constructive dialogue moving forward.
