NAJAF: The representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan, arrived in Najaf on Thursday morning. His visit includes a significant meeting with the supreme religious authority, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, upon his arrival at the airport, Mohammed Al-Hassan proceeded directly to the office of Ayatollah Al-Sistani. The meeting signifies an important engagement between the United Nations and one of Iraq’s most influential religious leaders, reflecting ongoing international diplomatic efforts in the region.
