Isfahan: The Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Isfahan, Counselor Ahmed Latif Ali, engaged in discussions with Vahid Jalalzadeh, the Undersecretary of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs, concerning the outcomes of the Iraqi Prime Minister’s recent visit to Tehran.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was held at the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s office in Isfahan, where the two officials reviewed bilateral relations and the results of the Prime Minister’s visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The discussions included enhancing investment opportunities, with an emphasis on Isfahan’s potential as a key investment and tourist hub.
Counselor Ahmed Latif Ali highlighted the significance of boosting economic and investment cooperation between Iraq and Iran. He emphasized the importance of simplifying procedures and addressing challenges faced by Iraqi students at Isfahan universities.
The Iranian official expressed appreciation for the strong relations between the two nations and acknowledged the Iraqi consulate’s role in service provision.
