Baghdad: The commander of Baghdad Operations, Lieutenant General Walid Al-Tamimi, revealed the security plan for the Rajab visit. Al-Tamimi outlined the comprehensive strategy during a press conference, highlighting the deployment of forces from the Ministries of Interior and Defense, along with the Popular Mobilization Forces, across 42 axes to ensure the safety and security of the event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, numerous preemptive operations have been executed in the city of Kadhimiya and other northern areas of Baghdad to avert any potential security breaches during the Rajab visit. The security plan is being actively supervised by the Minister of Interior and directly monitored by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. Al-Sudani emphasized the crucial role of media collaboration in covering the visit comprehensively.

Al-Tamimi further elucidated that six locations have been designated for visitor transportation, evenly split between Karkh and Rusafa. An integrated intelligence plan has been prepared, alongside the systematic division of responsibilities across visitor routes and areas to facilitate a smooth and secure experience for all participants.
