Baghdad: Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro and the new Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy to Iraq Daniel Rubinstein discussed today, Wednesday, the conditions of the displaced and returnees to their areas in Iraq and the file of the Syrian Al-Hol camp. The Ministry of Migration said in a statement: “Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro received the new Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy to Iraq Daniel Rubinstein and his accompanying delegation, at the ministry’s headquarters.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister congratulated Rubinstein on assuming his new duties, noting that Rubinstein stressed the depth of Iraqi-American relations and the need to enhance prospects for cooperation in all fields. The discussion focused on the conditions of the displaced and returnees, the file of stability in the return areas, and the file of the Syrian Al-Hol camp.
