Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command forces seized war remnants of ISIS “terrorist” gangs and arrested a number of suspects, including two for premeditated murder. The command stated in a statement that the forces of the (17th) Infantry Division and its attached units, with the support of agencies and intelligence services, carried out security operations to search and inspect the area and armed reconnaissance, during which they were able to arrest two suspects according to Article (406/Premeditated Murder Crimes) after besieging them in (Badr neighborhood) area within (Mahmoudiya) district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command added that based on accurate intelligence information, another force from the same division was able to find damaged war remnants of the “defeated” ISIS terrorist gangs. A number of suspects were arrested according to various legal articles by the Federal Police Mechanized Division in the areas of (Abu Dashir, Balat al-Shuhada, al-Hadr) west of the capital.
