Baghdad: The Baghdad Karkh Police Command announced that the Baghdad Karkh Fourth Emergency Regiment successfully arrested a terrorist suspect.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Interior highlighted that this arrest was part of the Karkh Police’s ongoing efforts to execute judicial arrest warrants and target significant individuals required by law. The operation was set in motion after reliable intelligence confirmed the presence of a wanted individual linked to terrorism cases within the designated area of responsibility.

The statement further detailed that a specialized team was swiftly assembled from the Baghdad Karkh Fourth Emergency Regiment, in collaboration with the regiment’s intelligence unit, to expedite the arrest process. Through a strategically planned ambush, the team managed to apprehend the suspect, demonstrating the regiment’s efficiency and coordination in handling such critical operations.
