Egypt Condemns Zionist Statements Targeting Saudi Sovereignty

Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt has voiced strong condemnation against Zionist statements that it perceives as inciting and inflammatory towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Egypt released a statement vehemently rejecting the Zionist demands for the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi lands. The statement deemed these demands a direct violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a blatant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The Egyptian government emphasized that the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia are non-negotiable, describing them as a “red line” that Egypt is committed to defending. The statement highlighted that Saudi Arabia’s stability and national security are integral to the security and stability of Egypt and other Arab countries.

Furthermore, Egypt criticized the Zionist remarks as an unacceptable violation of diplomatic norms and an encroachment on Saudi sovereignty. The statement reaffirmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state within the territories of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Quds, based on the pre-June 4, 1967 borders.

Egypt concluded its statement by expressing full support for Saudi Arabia in the face of these provocative statements, urging the international community to unequivocally condemn and denounce them.
