Basra: Basra heavy and medium crude recorded a slight loss during the past week. Basra heavy crude closed in its last session, yesterday, Friday, with an increase of 11 cents to reach $74.97, but it recorded a weekly loss of one cent, equivalent to 0.01%.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra medium crude closed in its last session, also with an increase of 11 cents to reach $78.12, and recorded a weekly loss of $11, or 0.14%. The two benchmark crudes, Brent and West Texas Intermediate, recorded their third consecutive weekly decline, affected by the renewal of the trade war launched by US President Donald Trump against China and his threats to raise customs duties on other countries.
