Diyala: Joint security forces arrested a terrorist suspect and others for premeditated murder in Diyala Governorate. Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, Director of Media for Diyala Police, confirmed the operation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint security force comprising Diyala Police and the Falcons Intelligence Cell successfully carried out a tight ambush to apprehend a suspect wanted under Article 4 for terrorism. The individual is accused of committing terrorist crimes against civilians.

Diyala Police Commander, Major General Mohammed Kadhim Attia, emphasized the importance of enforcing judicial arrest orders to bolster the rule of law and ensure security and stability throughout the province. The arrests demonstrate the commitment of the police command to maintaining peace in the region.
