Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with the envoy of the Emir of Kuwait, Mohammed Abdullah Abu Al-Hassan, with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq also in attendance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s media office issued a statement indicating that the meeting focused on the bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait. Discussions centered on enhancing and developing these relations, with the Kuwaiti envoy conveying greetings from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Emir expressed his country’s satisfaction with the Iraqi government’s approach to resolving mutual concerns.

The statement further highlighted that the meeting underscored the importance of continued dialogue between the two nations. Such dialogue is considered the optimal method for addressing outstanding issues, which will be explored in upcoming joint technical committee meetings. The future is set to see increased bilateral dialogues and discussions.
