FM Announces The Recovery Of A Group Of Iraqi Antiquities From Japan And Switzerland


Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced today, Tuesday, the recovery of a group of Iraqi antiquities from Japan and Switzerland: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein stated at a joint press conference with the Minister of Culture that the recent recovery of Iraqi antiquities marks a significant victory for the nation’s diplomatic efforts. He stressed that these artifacts are not merely remnants but represent a core part of Iraq’s heritage and national identity.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to retrieve additional Iraqi antiquities that remain abroad. This recovery effort has been identified as one of the most significant challenges faced by Iraqi diplomacy.
