Baghdad: The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Hayyan Abdel-Ghani, held discussions with Zaid Al-Yasiri, the director of BP in Iraq, focusing on cooperation in the development of oil and gas fields.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place as Abdel-Ghani welcomed Al-Yasiri to discuss potential collaborations in enhancing the capabilities and infrastructure of Iraq’s oil and gas sectors. The engagement between the two parties signifies a step towards strengthening Iraq’s energy sector by leveraging BP’s expertise and resources in the field.
