Britain: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his country’s readiness to send troops to Ukraine if necessary to ensure the security of Britain and Europe. Starmer emphasized that deploying peacekeeping forces to Ukraine, contingent upon reaching an agreement to end the conflict with Russia, might put British soldiers in harm’s way should Russian President Vladimir Putin decide to launch another attack.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Starmer articulated in the Daily Telegraph that Britain must demonstrate “readiness and willingness to contribute to Ukraine’s security guarantees, by putting our forces on the ground if necessary.” This statement underscores the United Kingdom’s commitment to playing a leading role in Ukraine’s defense and security.

Starmer further explained that the UK is prepared to back this commitment with substantial financial support, pledging 3 billion pounds (approximately 3.78 billion dollars) annually until 2030. This financial and military readiness reflects the UK’s strategic stance in supporting Ukraine amidst ongoing tensions with Russia.
