Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has directed the launch of the “Goodness Initiative” to empower youth in various sectors.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s media office outlined the government’s commitment to supporting youth as part of its program. The initiative, led by the Supreme Council for Youth, chaired by Al-Sudani, aims to empower young people in agriculture, food security, livestock, and climate sectors.

The initiative will provide financial support through accessible loans for young entrepreneurs in these sectors. It also includes training and qualifying young individuals to participate, as well as offering guidance to youth project leaders. Additionally, the initiative will assist in obtaining modern equipment for successful projects and ensure close monitoring of these projects to promote their success and sustainability.
