Baghdad: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to raise the level of readiness of the combat units within the Ministry of Interior during a meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters. The meeting included the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Federal Security Affairs, the Minister’s Advisor for Training, and various leaders and officers. Al-Shammari emphasized that achieving integration in security work is paramount.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior released a statement indicating that Al-Shammari was briefed on the tasks carried out by the combat units in enhancing security and stability within their respective sectors of responsibility. The meeting also covered the mechanism for implementing plans based on the curriculum prepared for these units, underscoring the ministry’s commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
