Nineveh: 161 Iraqi families, totaling 607 individuals, have moved from the al-Hol camp in Syria to al-Amal Center in Qayyarah, Nineveh Governorate. This relocation is part of the Iraqi government’s initiative to facilitate the voluntary return of displaced families.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source from the Nineveh Police Command confirmed that the transfer was completed successfully, with oversight from relevant security authorities. The families returned from various regions of Iraq, and the process was conducted in a secure environment with significant coordination between Iraqi authorities and United Nations agencies.
The source further explained that transportation for the families was adequately secured, and their entry into Iraqi territory was handled smoothly, ensuring a seamless transition for the displaced individuals.
