Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that his country bravely defended the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip at the United Nations General Assembly. In a speech during his participation in a charity event in the capital, Ankara, Erdogan stated that Turkey’s efforts at the UN were focused on supporting the Palestinian cause, with a keen eye on addressing those responsible for genocide and their supporters.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish President declared that wherever there is persecution, conflict, or injustice, Turkey will be there to address it. Erdogan emphasized his administration’s commitment to making the world a better place by promoting goodness and supporting the oppressed.

Erdogan further mentioned Turkey’s dedication to humanitarian duties, expressing the nation’s determination to preserve and pass on its legacy of goodwill to future generations. He highlighted Turkey’s efforts in maintaining stability in Somalia, ending the conflict in Sudan, and establishing peace in Yemen, Afghanistan, and Lebanon.
