Hilla: Three people were injured today in a traffic accident involving a truck on the road linking Al-Qasim and Al-Hillah district in the south. The incident has led to the closure of the main road, causing a disruption in traffic flow.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of Babylon Police, Brigadier Zahir Mohamed, stated that the accident occurred when the truck overturned, resulting in injuries to the three individuals on board. The injured were promptly transported to Al-Hilla Al-Jarrah Hospital for medical treatment.

Brigadier Mohamed also mentioned that an investigation has been launched by the police to determine the causes behind the accident. The authorities are working to restore normalcy on the affected road while ensuring safety measures are in place to prevent such incidents in the future.
