Baghdad: Iraq has taken over the presidency of the delegates and senior officials meeting, which is tasked with preparing for the upcoming foreign ministers’ preparatory meeting for the 34th regular session of the summit, previously held by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a speech at the meeting, Iraq’s representative to the League of Arab States, Qahtan Khalaf, addressed the attending Arab ministers. He expressed gratitude for their presence in Baghdad, highlighting it as a testament to the strong and expanding cooperative relations among Arab nations.
Khalaf emphasized the importance of the meeting, stating, “We look forward to results that serve the Arab peoples.” His remarks underscore Iraq’s commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within the Arab League, with a focus on achieving outcomes beneficial to the region.
