Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi emphasized the need to bolster bilateral cooperation and maintain ongoing coordination and consultation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office detailed that Al-Sudani held a bilateral meeting with President el-Sisi, who led the Egyptian delegation at the 34th Arab Summit in Baghdad. The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation and sustaining coordination on shared issues to benefit the two nations, especially under Iraq's leadership of the Arab Summit.

The statement further noted that al-Sudani underscored the necessity of enhancing joint action and devising decisive solutions to Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian issue. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in advancing development, construction, and reconstruction efforts.

President el-Sisi commended the organization of the summit in Baghdad and its outcomes, which aim to enhance cooperation, coordination, and joint Arab initiatives. These efforts are intended to support the development process and contribute to achieving peace and stability.
