Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed, "The summit will signal to the outside world that Baghdad is safe and welcoming to all," noting that work is ongoing to receive the Arab delegations participating in the Arab Summit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister stated in a televised statement that all Arab countries are participating in the summit at various levels, and emphasized that there are guests from important organizations. Hussein highlighted the significance of the Palestinian issue, stating that it is at the forefront of the discussions at the Arab Summit. He mentioned that a set of ideas will be presented to enhance economic cooperation among Arab countries.

He further stressed that the success of the event lies in holding the summit in Baghdad, stating that the mere fact that the summit is held in Baghdad is a victory for Iraq.
