Washington: US President Donald Trump strongly criticized his country's Supreme Court, asserting that the judges are preventing him from fulfilling his campaign promises after overturning his administration's decisions on the deportation of illegal immigrants. "The United States Supreme Court will not allow us to deport immigrants from our country... It is hindering me from doing what I was elected to do," Trump said in a post on the Truth Social platform, adding, "This is a bad and dangerous day for the country."
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the US Supreme Court has extended, until further notice, the ban it issued on April 19 regarding the deportation of immigrants. The case has been referred to the Federal Court of Appeals to determine the legality of this law and the conditions under which the individuals concerned can challenge their deportation before the court.
