Moscow: Russian air defenses successfully intercepted and shot down 94 Ukrainian drones last night across the country's southwestern provinces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense detailed the defensive operation, highlighting the significant number of drones targeted. The breakdown of the interceptions included 64 drones in Belgorod Province, 24 in Bryansk Province, 2 in Kursk Province, 2 in Lipetsk Province, 1 in Voronezh Province, and 1 in Tula Province.

The Ministry's statement further elaborated on the ongoing situation, noting that forces from Kyiv continue to frequently target these southwestern regions of Russia with both drones and missiles. The statement emphasized the almost daily nature of these incursions, underscoring the heightened military activity in the area.
