Russian Forces Liberate Three Towns in Ongoing Military Operations

Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, that Russian forces successfully liberated the towns of Stobochki and Otradnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, as well as the town of Luknya in Sumy Oblast.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry's statement detailed the operations carried out by various Russian military groups. Units of the Northern Group were credited with liberating the village of Luknya in Sumy Oblast and targeting Ukrainian Armed Forces' concentrations in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. Ukrainian losses in these operations reportedly included over 155 soldiers, a tank, four armored combat vehicles, and other military assets.

The statement further elaborated on a combined strike by the Russian Armed Forces using high-precision ground weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This strike targeted a Ukrainian military-industrial complex involved in missile and UAV production, a radio-technical reconnaissance center, and a site for the US-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.

In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Southern Group of Forces played a pivotal role in liberating the town of Stobochki. The Russian forces also targeted Ukrainian armed forces in various areas within the DPR, resulting in losses of over 280 Ukrainian servicemen and combat vehicles. Additionally, an ammunition depot and an electronic warfare station were dismantled.

The statement also highlighted the efforts of the "East" group, which liberated the village of Otradnoye in the DPR. Russian forces in this operation focused on Ukrainian positions in the Zaporizhia region, with reported Ukrainian losses exceeding 200 servicemen and armored vehicles, along with the destruction of two electronic warfare stations.

Moreover, the "West" group of Russian forces seized more advantageous positions in the Donetsk People's Republic and Kharkiv region. Their operations resulted in the loss of more than 215 Ukrainian servicemen and several pieces of artillery. An electronic warfare station and two ammunition depots were also reportedly destroyed in these operations.
