Amman: The Chairman of the Federal Integrity Commission and the Arab Network for Promoting Integrity and Anti-Corruption, Mohammed Ali Al Lami, has emphasized the need for regional and international cooperation to tackle challenges that impede comprehensive development efforts, with a specific focus on corruption.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a speech at a regional workshop in Amman, Jordan, supported by the United Nations Development Programme’s Regional Center for Arab States, Al Lami highlighted that sustainable development is essential for ensuring a secure and just future for upcoming generations. He noted that issues such as poverty, unemployment, inequality, the exploitation of resources, and corruption are significant barriers to achieving this development.
