Baghdad: A suspect has been apprehended for impersonating a security officer in the city. The Directorate of Individual Security at the Ministry of Interior successfully executed the arrest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry revealed in a statement that the arrest followed three days of technical surveillance. The suspect was caught attempting to enter a police station in Baghdad while wearing a military uniform.

The statement further noted that legal measures have been initiated to complete the necessary investigative and legal paperwork against the suspect.
